SYME is a Christian Organization that offers an intensive full-immersion English learning environment through our biblical discipleship program. Our program is designed to improve students’ conversational English and help them discover a faith with God.

ALL DAY ENGLISH IMMERSION
We have a phrase here. All English, all the time. Many have studied enough to pass difficult tests but still have a challenging time holding a real conversation in English. Through our native-english speaking staff, SYME creates a realistic, comfortable, and safe English environment. We do this so you can have hundreds of hours to build the confidence to live, study, and make friends anywhere English is used.
WHO IS SYME FOR?
Our program is not focused on improving test scores, many programs already do that. Instead SYME is uniquely focused on helping students improve real world skills such as listening and conversation. SYME is the perfect fit for those who want to live in a western country, study at an English University, gain confidence in talking with foreigners, or study the Bible in English.
TEACHERS AND STAFF
At SYME, teachers are native-english speakers and many have taught for years in American schools or trained at Bible Institutes. Our staff loves building relationships with students and helping them improve their language abilities and spiritual life. Unlike most programs, our teaching staff is made of missionaries and non-profit volunteers who come to serve out of love for Taiwan and love of Jesus Christ.
SYME MAKES LEARNING FUN
The only way you truly understand a subject is by practicing it in a real environment. SYME is not easy but it is fun. Whether it’s in the classroom or outside in the Park, students practice English in many different ways. Our schedule is full of classes, games, events, and activities that are all in English. Whether you are learning the Bible or drinking bubble tea with a teacher, there’s no better way to practice.
THE LEARNING DOESN’T STOP AFTER CLASS
In addition to our classroom experience, we also offer students the opportunity live in an apartment with our teachers. Here you’ll be able to use everyday English in a natural way. Perhaps show your teacher the best place to get Beef Noodle or the beautiful culture of Taiwan.
