This form provides information for you to use as you or as you Register Online or fill out the Offline Registration Form (and mail/fax/email to us). Please register as soon as possible as we expect the housing space to be limited. The earlier you register, the better chance you have of securing a dorm room (see lodging section below). Even if you do not need meals and/or housing, please register ASAP to help with our conference planning. There is a significant discount for registering before June 1.

Notes

These fees do not cover all the conference costs. An offering will be taken on Thursday evening of the conference to cover these additional expenses and to provide an opportunity to support other TMF ministries.

* Those unregistered persons attending only particular sessions of the conference are encouraged to help with conference expenses (NT$200 per session is suggested) by using the offering box placed just inside the entrance of the main sessions or giving in the Thursday evening offering.

** If you Submit an Application for membership in TMF and that application is accepted, the difference between the member and non-member fees here can be credited toward the dues of the first year of a TMF membership.

 

Financial Assistance

 

If you are a member of TMF and cannot attend the conference due to financial hardship, help is available. Please contact Christine Dillon ( christine.dillon@omfmail.com ) before June 1st.

 

Currency of Payment

 

We prefer NT$. If you must pay using US$, our exchange rate is NT$29 to US$1.

 

TMF Annual Dues

 

  • Singles: NT$ 1,200 (NT$ 1080 for Membership Renewal)
  • Couples: NT$ 1,500 (NT$ 1350 for Membership Renewal)

 

Notes

Members will receive TMF annual directory, member rates for the TMF annual conference, email updates from the TMF office and the TMF Community Group, discounts for the Oasis Retreat Center, etc. A 10% discount on dues will be given to members of a mission who submit payment as a group (even if all missionaries of that group do not sign up). Individuals can also receive a 10% discount by renewing membership before July 31.

 

Lodging Arrangement

 

All rooms are shared and air-conditioned. Please bring your own pillows, sheets, blankets, towels, soap, shampoo, etc. No pets are allowed.

Meal Plans

 

Meals offered in the meal plans below are available in the cafeteria. Meal packages offer a discount off of the price for individual meals. There are two categories of meals:

 

Adult/Teen

For those who have completed 6th grade and older

 

Child

For children age 4 through and including those who have completed 5th grade. There is no charge for children under 4 years of age who are accompanied by a parent/guardian who has ordered a meal.

NO Meal Refunds will be provided after the first day. However, meal tickets may be given away or sold to other conference participants. We request that, if possible, you pay meal fees at the same time as you pay your conference fees and lodging fees.

Dear TMF Members

 

The TMF timetable is slightly changed this year to keep all the seminars in the mornings (rather than also in the afternoons). In the afternoons we have added four optional family activities (outside games; craft; prayer; board games) that will run from 2-3:30pm (so there is time for a rest). These activities are designed to help people get to know each other in an informal setting and to also allow whole families to ‘play’ together.

 

Please note that if you attend a craft activity (sign-up at registration) there will be an additional cost of up to NT$100/participant. Young children can work with their parent (and not pay).

Dear brothers and sisters serving Jesus in Taiwan, 
 
TMF annual conference is from 23-28 July. Please book the dates, we’d love to see you there. 
 
This year I am the chairperson. This gives me some unique privileges including getting to choose the speaker. One other privilege is that it has allowed me to stand back and look at the conference as a whole. I have been able to talk to people about their hopes and dreams for the conference. This year we’d like to make a few changes aiming in particular to not only encourage our spiritual lives … but also to get to know each other better. 
 
Why is that important? 
 
For many reasons, but they include the huge benefit it is for us to know other people from other organizations within Taiwan. I know how easy it is to just know and talk to people from within your own organization but when we do that we miss out on the beautiful diversity that God has placed on this island. 
 
With this in mind I wanted to alert you to a few changes which I hope you’ll enjoy. 
 
During the week there are 8 sessions for the speaker - this year half will be more interactive. 
 
The seminar times have traditionally been after lunch (and recently before lunch as well). This year we’ll trial keeping them to three days before lunch. One will be an ‘everyone’ session on ‘multicultural teams’ as our speaker has just written a book on this subject and has wide experience with this. It is also something that all of us are involved with. The other two days will be ‘choose’ one seminar on the topic of ‘thriving in Taiwan’ (more personal/spiritual life topics) and one on ministry skills topics. 
 
After lunch instead of seminars, we’ll trial 90 minutes (and starting at 2pm so you can have a rest) of optional FAMILY activities - an outdoor games afternoon, a craft afternoon, an interactive prayer afternoon and board games afternoon. 
 
TMF conference can be daunting for those who haven’t attended before. We’re hoping that this will be a year that if you haven’t been before, you’ll feel especially welcome. I know that I have benefitted from meeting so many from different organizations. Many of those I’ve met have become good friends and encouragers.
